The Northside Band Boosters in co-operation with Steve & Jolene Herczeg and family have set up a scholarship fund in
memory of their son Stephen. Stephen was a very important part of the Northside Marching and Symphonic Band and passed away
on Saturday, August 13, 2005 after suffering a brain injury following a fall from a moving car on Thursday, August 4. The
scholarship will be $500 and on a yearly basis will be presented to the boy/girl selected to be the Drum Major for the following
school year. It will be used to pay tuition and expenses for the student to attend a camp for drum major's for a week during
the summer.
The scholarship will be awarded each year at the Spring Banquet.
